Tessa Wong
I’m Tessa Wong, and for as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. I’ve dedicated countless hours to understanding the intricacies of dog training, particularly when it comes to service dogs. It’s fascinating to see how these incredible animals can be trained to help people with disabilities lead more independent lives. From basic obedience to specialized tasks, every little step in the training process reminds me just how intelligent and loving our furry friends can be. I’ve had the privilege of working with various dogs—each with their own unique quirks and personalities—and it’s truly rewarding to witness the profound bond that forms between the dog and their human partner.
When I’m not busy with training sessions or soaking up all the doggy antics, I enjoy channeling my creative side through gardening and culinary exploration. There’s something therapeutic about digging in the dirt and coaxing life out of a seed—just like training a pup, patience is key! I also love trying my hand at new recipes, especially anything that involves chocolate; let’s be honest, after a long day of training, a rich slice of cake makes everything better. Oh, and let’s not forget my obsession with cozy mystery novels—nothing beats curling up with a good book (and my dog, of course) after a long day of training!
