Dog training, especially when it comes to service dogs, has become a huge part of my life. These amazing animals have a transformative power, and I love being involved in their journey from playful puppies to skilled service companions. I’ve worked hands-on with various breeds to prepare them for their roles, teaching them essential commands and behaviors that can truly make a difference in someone’s life. I find joy in the small victories, like when a dog demonstrates perfect focus or responds to a cue for the first time. Each day brings its own unique challenges and stories, and I’m always eager to share what I’ve learned along the way.
Outside of the training grounds, you can usually find me indulging in my love for cooking. There’s something incredibly satisfying about experimenting with new recipes and flavors, and I sometimes whip up dog-friendly treats for my furry friends—talk about a win-win! I’m also a huge fan of live music, often catching local bands at cozy venues around town. On weekends, you might spot me curled up with a good book or playing board games with friends, enjoying that sense of community that comes from shared laughter and friendly competition. Balancing work with these personal interests keeps me grounded and fueled for the rewarding journey of dog training.
